Rainier

A class for parents with young children begins in Rainier on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 9 a.m. at the Rainier Head Start Center. ‘Make Parenting a Pleasure’ covers content that helps parents gain a greater understanding of their children, insight into their child’s developmental stages, effective parenting skills, practical stress management and communication skills and positive approaches to discipline. Soon-to-be parents and those with children under 8 years old are welcome to apply for the class. Fees are based on a sliding scale. To sign up, call 503-556-3736.
